Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs Learning Support Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a Special Educational Needs Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in Winton.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Supporting students with additional needs in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
  • Assisting with the implementation of individualised learning plans tailored to each student.
  • Helping students to engage in classroom activities and encouraging positive learning outcomes.
  • Supporting the teacher in creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Observing and reporting on student progress to help inform teaching strategies.
  • Providing emotional and social support to students where needed.


**Requirements:**
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN or in an educational setting.
  • A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as CACHE Level 2/3, are desirable but not essential.


**Estimated Salary:** £13.30 per hour (dependent on experience). We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
