Main Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, hospital staff, and service users, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Accurately receive prescriptions into the pharmacy and process payments for prescriptions and other items using the till.
  • Operate IT systems to manage stock, process transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Develop strong relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Basic IT skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including extended hours and weekends, to meet the needs of the pharmacy.
  • GCSE Mathematics and English qualifications.
