About the Role

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Procurement Operational Service Driver/Stores Person to join their team.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive procurement service, including the transportation of patients, staff, and medical supplies across the trust's various departments.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and experience in logistics and supply chain management.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Assist with the operational movement of staff and patients, managing stock levels, and participating in the provision of an efficient procurement service.
  2. Distribute goods and freight around the hospital using barrows or cages as required.
  3. Obtain signatures for delivered goods and return signed paperwork to the administrative department.
  4. Assist in delivering pharmacy products to wards and community departments.
  5. Ensure the Medical Equipment stores area remains clean and tidy for staff to carry out their duties.
Requirements
  • Holding or obtaining training for non-patient transport support level 3 RQF qualification.
  • Driving Licence category D1.
