Where Will I Be Working?



You will be working in one of our services in Broadstairs, offering 24-hour supported living facilities to individuals with complex needs. Our tailored approach enables residents to live independently, and our team is dedicated to creating bespoke care plans that cater to each individual's unique preferences and personalities.

Job Description:

As a Support Worker at Turning Point, your duties will include:

  • Promoting independence through daily activities such as cleaning, cooking, and participating in community events
  • Developing residents' life skills and personal interests through creative activities and outings
  • Assisting with personal care needs and maintaining accurate records
  • Safeguarding residents' health and well-being through manual handling and medication administration
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and contributing to ongoing service monitoring


Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualities:

  • Passion for supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
