Job Title: Learning Disability Care Professional

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Learning Disability Care Professional at Turning Point in Broadstairs. The role involves providing support for adults with Learning Disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilling and independent lives.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a 24-hour supported living facility, providing personalized support to individuals with Learning Disabilities. As a Learning Disability Care Professional, you will work closely with the core team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience, working with a specific person based on shared preferences and personalities. You will also be involved in arranging activities in the home and local community, developing life skills and personal interests of the residents.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Promoting independence and supporting daily activities such as cleaning, cooking, and days out or holidays
  • Developing and implementing care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Assisting with personal care needs and manual handling
  • Supporting individuals with medication and ensuring record keeping is maintained to the required standard
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £27,500 per annum, with opportunities to boost your career and comprehensive benefits package. We offer 30 days' paid holiday a year, increasing with each year of service up to 32 days.
