Health Promotion Administrator

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Health Promotion Administrator to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Outreach Team, ensuring the smooth delivery of our sexual health services in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Outreach Team, including managing databases, spreadsheets, and other computer systems.
- Register clients on the electronic patient record, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Book appointments and follow-ups into clinics, dealing with information sensitively and professionally.
- Take messages in a polite and professional manner, ensuring they are given to the appropriate staff in a timely manner.
- Signpost clients to alternative services, such as sexual health clinics and pharmacies.
- Update and maintain the outreach webpage and social media sites, ensuring information is timely and up-to-date.
- Act as a key point of contact for the team, coordinating and publishing events as required.
- Work in partnership with the communications team to promote the service.
- Order stock, including chlamydia screening kits, condoms, and stationery, raising purchase orders as necessary.
- Process test kits requested via the online service, including posting screening kits and maintaining the department database.
- Ensure Chlamydia Screening and Condom Distribution Scheme outlets have sufficient supplies of kits.
- Provide administrative support to the team when arranging outreach events, such as Freshers Fairs and Young People's awareness raising sessions.
- Hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a car to travel to outreach events, as required.

Person Specification
The successful candidate will have experience of managing work-related webpages and social media, dealing with the public face-to-face and/or on the telephone, and working on own initiative and as part of a team. They will also have excellent communication skills, be able to create and manage spreadsheets and databases, and have a full understanding of the Data Protection Act.
