Financial Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Financial Assistant to join our team at First Choice Selection Services on a temporary basis for a minimum of 9 months. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain experience in financial administration and work with a well-established logistical and engineering company.
About the RoleAs a Financial Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with database management, reconciling receipts, bank accounts, and credit cards, managing sales ledgers, issuing invoices, and following up on payments. You will also perform other relevant financial and administrative duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with database management to coordinate projects
- Reconcile receipts, bank accounts, and credit cards
- Manage sales ledger, issue invoices, and follow up on payment
In addition to your core responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in financial administration and contribute to the success of our company.
What We Need From YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- At least 1 year's experience working in an office environment
You should be able to work independently and effectively manage your time to meet deadlines.
What We Will Offer YouWe offer a competitive hourly rate of £11.75 per hour, plus a range of benefits including inclusion into our company pension scheme and a minimum of 28 days annual leave (pro rata). As a valued member of our team, you will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in financial administration.
Salary DetailsThe estimated salary for this role is £23,900 - £29,700 per annum based on a 24-30 hour week.
LocationThis role is based in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, and requires flexibility in terms of hours and working days.
Please note that this role is a temporary opportunity, but it could lead to future permanent employment with our company.
