Job Details:
We are seeking a skilled Legal Financial Assistant to join our team at Staffline Recruitment (NI) Ltd. As a key member of our finance function, you will assist with various financial tasks, including supervision and maintenance of client accounts, bank reconciliations, and accurate processing of payments.

About the Role:
This part-time position requires an experienced finance professional to work closely with our partners, assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of our client's finance operations. Your duties will include supervising and maintaining firm's client, office and deposit bank accounts, reconciling bank statements, accurately processing incoming and outgoing payments, and ensuring all finance records are up-to-date and accurate on the firm's finance system.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and maintain firm's client, office and deposit bank accounts
- Reconcile bank statements
- Accurately process incoming and outgoing payments (Bacs/Cheques/Bank lodgements/Payments via card terminal)
- Ensure all finance records are up-to-date and accurate on the firm's finance system
- Check and post bills and invoices
- Manage petty cash
- Prepare cash-flow forecasts
- Liaise with suppliers

Requirements:
- Previous experience within a bookkeeping/accounting-focused role is essential
- Competent on Microsoft Office packages, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to observe strict levels of confidentiality required to work in a legal practice
- Previous experience/knowledge of legal accounts software (such as Insight Legal) or working in finance within a legal setting is not essential but would be highly desirable
