Award-winning Amazon is seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to join our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Application Modernisation team.

Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity to drive revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for owning the GTM strategy and execution for Containers in EMEA North, collaborating with teams in the field including Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute cross-functional initiatives to expand markets/accounts, develop scalable programs to drive adoption, and identify new opportunities within your domain.
  • Leverage your deep expertise in cloud technologies, including public and hybrid cloud platforms, to understand the most important customer problems in your region and enable account aligned teams in the field to solve them.
  • Broaden customer insights by bringing customer data and market signals back to Worldwide teams to ensure we are prioritizing the building of the right features and services for our customers.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver monthly/quarterly business reviews and operational planning documents for your respective tech domain and geography.

About the Role:

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $120,000 - $150,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.

What You'll Need:
  • Understanding of the commercial reasons and implications of deploying on or migrating to containers.
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies, including public and hybrid cloud platforms.
