This Learning Support Officer role requires a professional to work with children with additional needs in our Chesterfield location.

About the Role:
  • Support children's education and well-being in a specialist setting.
  • Develop close relationships with children who may need extra support.
  • Contribute to children's social, emotional, and academic progress.
  • Travel between sites and, if required, transport children (transport costs will be covered).
About You:
  • Experience: Experience working in primary settings, preferably with children with additional needs, is vital.
  • Key Qualities: Empathetic, calm, and skilled at building rapport with children and colleagues.
  • Skills: Understanding of the challenges faced by children with ASD, ADHD, or emotional and behavioural difficulties.
  • Driving Licence: Essential for this role, along with regular access to your own vehicle.

Salary Range: £27,600 - £31,900 per year
