Practice Learning Environment Coordinator
Job Description
Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an experienced Practice Learning Environment Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the Education Department, you will be responsible for supporting the practice learning environment to meet and maintain professional body standards for support and assessment of practice learning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong nursing background, with experience in teaching, supervising, and assessing learners in a practice learning environment. You will be able to demonstrate leadership skills, continuing professional development, and significant experience in supervision and assessment of healthcare students. Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support practice learning areas to meet and maintain professional body standards for support and assessment of practice learning.
  • Support learners and staff to enable learners to meet assessment requirements stated by the NMC and our HEI partners for student progression.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse
  • A Practice Assessor
  • Ability to teach, supervise, and assess learners in the practice learning environment

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  • Recognised teaching/assessing qualification

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
