We are seeking an exceptional Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. Located in Chesterfield, this role involves supporting pupils with complex needs, promoting inclusive learning environments, and fostering strong relationships with students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide individualized support to pupils with diverse special educational needs, focusing on their social, emotional, and academic development.
2. Collaborate with teachers to create and implement tailored Educational Healthcare Plans (EHCPs) and Behaviour Plans, ensuring each student's needs are met.
3. Build trust-based relationships with students, engaging them in learning and promoting confidence, independence, and inclusivity.
4. Assist in maintaining a positive, effective classroom environment, working closely with the educational team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
