Chesterfield Autism Support Specialist

Sugarman Health & Wellbeing is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Chesterfield.
**Job Description:**
The successful candidate will support a female with autism who requires assistance with daily living tasks, promoting independence and inclusion in community activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the individual with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and personal care
- Assisting with maintaining a safe and healthy environment
- Encouraging participation in hobbies and interests, such as dancing and walking
- Attending health appointments and supporting the individual's physical and emotional well-being
**Requirements:**
- Clear English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Makaton, positive behaviour support, autism, and behaviours that challenge (advantageous but all training will be given)
- Enthusiasm to learn and experience new things
- DBS clearance
