Rheumatology Consultant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Rheumatology Consultant to join our dynamic team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical advice and support for ward referrals, as well as contributing to the development and expansion of our rheumatology service.
Main Responsibilities- Provide clinical advice and support for ward referrals
- Contribute to the development and expansion of our rheumatology service
- Work collaboratively with specialist nurses, advanced rheumatology practitioners, physiotherapy, OT, and Podiatry teams
- Participate in research and teaching opportunities, both undergraduate and post-graduate
- MB.CHB or equivalent qualification
- Specialist registration with the General Medical Council and licensed to practice
- Completion of basic training in Medicine
- Completion of higher training in Rheumatology (CCT or within 6 months of obtaining CCT at time of interview)
- Postgraduate qualification (PHD or MD) equivalent
- Experience of audits
- Publications in recognized Medical and Rheumatology journals
