About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rheumatology Consultant to join our dynamic team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a Rheumatology Consultant, you will be responsible for providing clinical advice and support for ward referrals, as well as delivering high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical advice and support for ward referrals
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting
  • Work collaboratively with specialist nurses, advanced rheumatology practitioners, physiotherapy, OT, and Podiatry teams

Requirements

  • MB.CHB or equivalent
  • Specialist registration with the General Medical Council and licensed to practice
  • Completion of basic training in Medicine
  • Completion of higher training in Rheumatology (CCT or within 6 months of obtaining CCT at time of interview)

As a Rheumatology Consultant at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, with access to 20 beds on the Programmed Investigation Unit for the delivery of intravenous therapies. You will also have the chance to participate in research and teaching, both undergraduate and post-graduate.
