About the Job
We are seeking an experienced front desk professional to join our team at Cardiff University. As a highly organised and customer-focused individual, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to students, staff, and visitors across our multiple buildings.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality reception service, including responding to enquiries, logging information, and referring complex matters to relevant staff.
- Maintain accurate records, process mail, and ensure the reception area is well-maintained.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team objectives, participate in training initiatives, and apply quality and customer care principles.
- Develop strong relationships with key contacts, gather data to update administrative systems, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Essential Criteria
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Ability to work accurately, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
- Previous experience in a similar role or related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and other relevant software.
Salary Information
This position offers a competitive salary range of £22,728 - £23,114 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in delivering exceptional customer service.
