The York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Children's Community Healthcare Specialist to join their team. This permanent position involves working 22.5 hours per week over 3 days, Monday-Friday. The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the hospital, primary care, and education settings.
This role requires a Registered Children's Nurse with thorough knowledge of current issues in healthcare standards of professional practice and working knowledge of child protection issues. The ideal candidate should be committed to self-development and professional training, with the ability to work independently within the community setting.
The estimated salary for this position is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. The trust offers a range of benefits, including access to the NHS Pension Scheme, 27 days holiday rising to 33 days, and a generous relocation package of up to 30% of salary (capped at £18k).
