We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Unit team in York. As a children's trained nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care to infants and their families.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a 15-bedded unit, comprising of 2 ICU/HDU cots, 9 Special Care cots, and 4 Transitional Care cots. You will provide care for babies from 27 weeks gestation and 800g in weight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, adhering to York Teaching Hospital NHS Trust policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote positive relationships among staff.
  • Contribute to the audit and evaluation of clinical practices to ensure quality care.
  • Act in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council Code of Conduct.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Registered Nurse (Level 1 or 2) qualifications.
  • The willingness to undergo necessary training.
