Job Title: Senior Business Development Director

At The M-Wek Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Director to join our Asset Management Data Solutions team. This key role will work closely with our Director of Engagement and the Relationship Management Team to drive business growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend new business meetings to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Build and lead a team to develop and implement strategies for new revenue streams and account management.
  • Update our CRM system and ensure that all internal stakeholders are informed of changes within member firms.
  • Cross-sell and make referrals to support the growth of other income-generating offerings across the business.
  • Scope new commercial opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in sales and business development within the Financial Services industry, particularly in the Asset Manager and Distribution space concerning Data Services. Experience with data issues in financial services is a plus. Additionally, the ability to use CRM systems is essential.

Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development.
  • Strong understanding of the Financial Services industry, particularly in Asset Management and Data Services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
