Manufacturing Engineer - Lean - Continuous Improvement

Bristol-based opportunity with a global Engineering client.

£40,000 - £45,500 plus bonus and benefits.

About the Role

Design, prove, implement and maintain the cell manufacturing system layout to deliver existing, customised and new products safely, on time to standard and within budget.

Implement, own and continuously improve the manufacturing cell's LEAN manufacturing processes according to business guidelines.

Resolve or support any non-conformity, internal or external, impacting the manufacturing process of the allocated cell.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement manufacturing systems to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain LEAN manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify and resolve non-conformities to ensure manufacturing process integrity.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level in an engineering discipline (Mechanical/Electrical) or commensurate experience.
  • Strong background in using Continuous Improvement techniques and implementing LEAN methodologies.
  • Experience of utilising problem solving and root cause analysis tools in a manufacturing environment.
