Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify and develop opportunities for new or improved digital manufacturing processes, systems, and technologies.
  2. Fix, improve, and/or transform current and future digital capability.
  3. Deploy, develop, and implement Digital Manufacturing processes and technologies across the Commodity and Production lifecycle.
  4. Collaborate cross-functionally with multi-disciplinary teams internally and externally to deliver future-proof digital excellence.

Requirements

  1. Digital Professional qualifications (e.g., UK minimum HND/Foundation degree or other national equivalent)
  2. General awareness of Manufacturing Systems
  3. Demonstrable experience in complex and regulated manufacturing operations within Aerospace or other industries
  4. Experience working to Industry 4.0 principles and digital transformation methodology
  5. A strong appetite for continuous self-development with an active interest in novel and emerging manufacturing technology
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate within strict regulatory and quality parameters
  7. Knowledge of digital manufacturing systems, mapping, and automation
  8. Strong understanding of IIOT and data analytics
