Transforming Lives through Medical Innovation

Your role at Medtronic will be to drive the development and growth of our Superficial Venous business with existing and new customers, aligning with Sales Managers' guidelines and exceeding financial and non-financial targets that enhance Medtronic's market reputation.

Working closely with customers, you will develop champions for our new technology and identify opportunities for future business growth in West London and Southwest England, leveraging a deep understanding of the Superficial therapy area and providing strong clinical support, as well as commercial awareness.

A Day in the Life

  • Analyzing the market, developing effective territory/account sales strategies, and presenting them to management for implementation.
  • Identifying and addressing key decision-makers (clinical, administrative/economic) and key opinion leaders.
  • Building lasting business relationships with key decision-makers and those influential in the purchasing process.
  • Monitoring tenders and preparing/building tender submissions with internal stakeholders.
  • Providing technical support to customers (physicians, consultants) according to territory guidelines.
  • Managing asset levels according to guidelines and conducting regular stock checks.
  • Training and educating relevant hospital staff on Medtronic products using our resources effectively.
  • Reporting comprehensive, timely account, market, and competitive information and trends.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration, Biology, or an advanced degree.

• Thorough selling skills education and knowledge.

• Thorough understanding of the decision-making process with customers (economic buyer, reimbursement).

• Strong selling experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry with consistent over-plan performance.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge and customer networks in the Vascular business.
