About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Counselling Service Manager to lead our Therapy Team at NFP People Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the provision of a high-quality, specialist service to victims of sexual violence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Counselling Service, which offers face-to-face, telephone, and online counselling sessions and therapeutic support.
  • Provide direct line management to the Counselling & Therapy Team, demonstrating well-developed leadership skills and decisive operational accountability.
  • Be responsible for the overall management, leadership, and development of clinical staff and volunteers.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling or Psychotherapy, with accredited status with BACP, NCS, or other equivalent body.
  • 750 hours post-qualification practice.
  • Experience in managing and supporting staff to deliver services effectively.
  • A minimum of three years' experience working specifically in adult or children's services.
  • A minimum of two years' experience of undertaking therapeutic assessments.
  • A valid driving licence.
