We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Management Officer to join our team at Derbyshire County Council.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the financial monitoring of the revenue budgets, capital programme, and trading accounts prepared in respect of the running and use of the Council's land and property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively monitor, coordinate, and collate data from multiple systems associated with the monitoring of costs and performance associated with Council's land and property portfolio.
  • Utilize information technology to ensure the accurate recording and manipulation of property-related data.
  • Identify and escalate areas of significant deviations in building budgets.
  • Support with collecting and analyzing data for use in the production of property performance indicators and to assist in performance benchmarking.
Requirements:
  • Experience of the collection, collation, and monitoring of financial information relating to property management budgets in a large and complex organization or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of budget monitoring processes.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data using proven analytical and ICT skills within Microsoft office products.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, both oral and written.
  • Relevant vocational qualification and relevant or significant and practical experience.
