We are assisting an international manufacturing organisation in recruiting a Marketing Coordinator for their UK-focused marketing team. Their team in the UK is substantial, but they operate across 26 countries worldwide.

The role:

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the primary focus of this role is to deliver comprehensive marketing support through various digital media and communications platforms.

You will be involved in managing and analysing multiple websites, utilising Google Analytics and other platforms to monitor effectiveness and success. You will create content for social media posts, e-newsletters, and editorials, which may also include basic design work using Photoshop or InDesign. You will manage all digital assets and online communications, including social media, online advertising, and corporate websites. From an offline perspective, you will produce various marketing collateral and support events and exhibitions.

You will manage external agencies and suppliers across design, video, social media, and PR, and will have constant liaison with internal product management teams to develop suitable marketing to support product launches or exhibitions, as well as general campaigns.

Requirements:

You will need to have gained a couple of years' experience in a commercial marketing role, a degree (or similar) in a relevant discipline, and a CIM qualification would be beneficial. A background in the B2B sector would be useful in a 360 marketing role covering both digital and offline marketing, and experience of managing agencies and suppliers, especially in negotiation, would be advantageous.

From a software perspective, we are looking for someone with knowledge of InDesign or Photoshop, as well as the usual MS Office applications. You will have strong presentation skills and be a brilliant time manager. There is also an opportunity to travel nationally and internationally to attend events and meet suppliers, so it would be great if this was something that excited you.

What's on Offer?

Salary for the role is up to £30,000 with a bonus structure in place, and there is a great pension scheme and lots of free, onsite parking. The company has a policy of allowing 2 days to work from home, but it should be expected that during your initial induction you may be in the office more than this.
