About the Role

Macklin Care Homes is seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team at Our Lady's Care Home in Belfast. The successful candidate will work 4 days a week (30 hours), Monday to Friday 9 am-5 pm, and be flexible to work any 4 days between Monday to Friday depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to ensure the effective and efficient running of the home.
  • Carry out receptionist duties, including managing the front desk and handling inquiries.
  • Assist with finance responsibilities, including payroll, billing, and cash handling.
  • Support the management team in securing cover for rota, liaising with agencies, and maintaining contact with bank staff.
  • Record all absence details in the time and attendance system and receive medical certificates as required.

Requirements:

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and right to work in the UK.
  • Proven 2 years experience in a busy office or admin environment.
  • Proven 2 years experience of the provision of quality administrative support.
  • GCSE English & Maths.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
