About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Time and Recovery Worker to join our Home Treatment Team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to individuals experiencing severe mental health issues and requiring crisis intervention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out Home Treatment Team visits and telephone calls, providing therapeutic engagement and support to service users in crisis.
  • Collaborate with families and carers to develop and implement care plans, ensuring the safety and well-being of service users.
  • Provide signposting to appropriate agencies and services, promoting recovery and independence.
  • Work autonomously, using excellent communication skills to engage with service users, carers, and organizations.
Person Specification
  • Experience of working within a secondary mental health care setting.
  • Experience of working with individuals in acute mental health crisis.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt to individual needs and circumstances.
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding policy and procedures.
