About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Support Time and Recovery Specialist to join our Home Treatment Team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing crisis intervention and support to individuals experiencing severe mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out Home Treatment Team visits and telephone calls, providing therapeutic engagement and support to service users in crisis.
  • Collaborate with families and carers to develop and implement care plans, ensuring a co-constructed approach to support service users in achieving their goals.
  • Signpost service users to appropriate agencies and services, providing clear pathways of escalation and working within the bounds of existing Trust policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent communication skills, working effectively with service users, carers, and organizations to ensure seamless support and care.
  • Work autonomously, using initiative and motivation to drive positive outcomes for service users.

Requirements

  • Experience of working within a secondary mental health care setting, with a focus on crisis intervention and support.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt to individual needs and respond appropriately.
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding policy and procedures, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of care and support.
