About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children with Disabilities Specialist to join our team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our Urgent Care Pathway, you will play a vital role in providing psychiatric input to our multidisciplinary team, supporting clinical decision making, and offering clinical assessments and consultation when appropriate.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric input to the multidisciplinary team, supporting clinical decision making and offering clinical assessments and consultation when appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with service leads to develop safe and effective services, actively contributing to the strategic development of the service.
  • Join our regular peer group CPD forum and participate in teaching opportunities, with support to become a clinical and/or educational supervisor.
  • Develop special interests in line with wider service needs.
