About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Time and Recovery Specialist to join our Home Treatment Team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing crisis intervention and support to individuals experiencing severe mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out Home Treatment Team visits and telephone calls to assess and support individuals in crisis.
  • Develop and implement collaborative care plans with service users, families, and carers to promote recovery and well-being.
  • Provide therapeutic engagement and support to service users, focusing on solution-building and goal-oriented approaches.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Hold a UK driving license to carry out home visits in pool cars.
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Experience of working within a secondary mental health care setting.
  • Experience of working with individuals in acute mental health crisis.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people using services, taking into account any communication difficulties they may have.
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding policy and procedures.
