Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief People Officer to join our team at Artiq. As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for leading our HR function and driving business growth through effective people management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise managers on terms and conditions of employment and people management, and share best practice with them.
  • Manage employee relations casework, including investigations, dispute resolutions, performance management, and capability.
  • Develop and implement relevant company and HR policies, procedures, and documentation that reflect best practice and our company culture.
  • Implement our learning and development policy, ensuring all annual training plans are devised and implemented.
  • Oversee terms and conditions and benefits, documenting changes and internal promotions.
  • Work with the Senior Management Team to devise and implement our reward strategy, salary review, and performance review schemes.
  • Manage all recruitment processes, including writing job descriptions and person specifications, advertising roles, and sourcing candidates.
  • Work with the Senior Management Team to manage talent and succession planning.
  • Continuously monitor and review developments in employment law and best practice, and implement changes where necessary.
Requirements
  • HR generalist and recruitment experience of 3-5 years in a HR Manager role.
  • Experience of working in a stand-alone role is desirable.
  • Ability to produce detailed, complex documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
