Job Overview

The role offers hybrid working with at least 50% of your time spent in our London office or visiting locations nationally. As Chief People Officer, you will make a tangible contribution to shaping the workplace culture for a dispersed, multi-site workforce and delivering our strategic business plan through the leadership of our People and Learning and Development strategy and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire the People and Volunteering team to build efficient, cost-effective, and impactful People processes, systems, and structures.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing professional business acumen and leadership skills.
  • Develop and implement initiatives that foster a sense of engagement and community, promoting a culture of trust, collaboration, and inclusion.
Requirements

We are looking for a proven strategic business partner with MCIPD qualification (or equivalent) and extensive senior HR and workforce development experience. A strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice, as well as learning and development delivery, is essential. Ideally, you have a background in a similar setting, including managing volunteering, and experience driving change, employee engagement, and people development, as well as leading systems and business process improvement.

What We Offer

This role comes with a competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
