Maintenance and Administration Manager

We are seeking a Building Operations Specialist to join our team at D.R.A.W RECRUITMENT in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in facilities management, maintenance, and administration.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Senior Facilities Manager in the daily running of Facilities Management Services and administration, including overseeing maintenance and repair of two gallery sites. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting administrative tasks, such as creating digital file resources, conducting audits, and maintaining up-to-date records and files.
- Communicating effectively with staff and service providers.
- Performing weekly fire alarm tests and monthly emergency lighting tests.
- Conducting routine inspections and identifying maintenance issues or hazards.
- Working closely with internal teams to manage hazards.
- Managing facilities and IT inventory, record-keeping, cleaning services, and maintenance supplies.
- Providing 1st line support for facilities helpdesk enquiries.
- Responding to facility-related emergencies.
- Assisting with H&S issues and ensuring compliance with fire regulations and other legal requirements.
- Supporting during gallery events.
- Participating in the emergency response team.
- Willingness to help out with day-to-day issues.
- Assisting with H&S onboarding processes.
The ideal candidate will have experience in facilities management, maintenance, and administration, with excellent communication and organisational skills. Salary range: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
