Join Universal Business Team as we embark on a new chapter of growth and expansion. We are seeking an exceptional Operations Manager to lead our logistics and warehouse operations to new heights.
About the Role:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of our lorry fleet, driver performance, and vehicle maintenance. You will also manage stock levels, ensure accurate order fulfillment, and lead and develop the operations team. Your strategic thinking and problem-solving skills will be essential in implementing process improvements to enhance service quality and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize fleet performance and reduce costs
- Manage stock levels and inventory control to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Lead and develop the operations team to achieve business objectives
- Implement process improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations
Requirements:
We are looking for a proactive professional with a strong background in logistics and warehouse management. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong leadership qualities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
