Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and provide patient care in accordance with professional standards
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid NMC pin and completed preceptorship for newly qualified nurses
  • 6 months of ophthalmic experience as a scrub nurse
  • A valid right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided)
  • Proof of vaccinations/immunity
  • An enhanced DBS check on the update service
  • Proof of mandatory training aligned to the Skills for Health UK CSTF standards
  • 2x clinical references
