Job Overview
This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Trainer to join our learning and development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering inductions, mandatory, and statutory training (MAST) to our colleagues. Your expertise will also be utilized in monitoring and reporting on training compliance, ensuring our teams have the skills necessary to provide outstanding care.
Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate inductions and MAST across your region, including subjects such as first aid, moving & handling, person-centred care, and more
• Deliver programs to enhance our current colleagues' careers
• Be a super user on our Exemplar Learning Management System (ELMS)
• Work with home managers to identify individual and group learning needs
• Develop and deliver bespoke courses as required
• Monitor and report on training compliance
• Support the operations team to drive compliance and achieve MAST targets
• Support apprenticeship programs
• Observe care practices to monitor the efficiency of training
• Attend regular contact meetings at our office in Rotherham
Your Background
To succeed in this role, you will need a training qualification (PTTLS , AET or equivalent) or be working towards it. Previous experience in healthcare or learning and development is not essential but would be beneficial. Excellent training delivery skills and great communication skills (both written and verbal) are also required. You must be able to build relationships with people at all levels of the organisation and work effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team, managing your own workload according to the priority of your regional training needs.
