Job Title: Learning Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a high level of experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and be able to deliver tuition in maths, English, and science subjects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop and implement individualised learning plans for students with SEN
  • To assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • To communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification in education or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience working with students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience
  • Strong knowledge of the UK education system
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
Benefits:
  • Part-time hours, around 10-15 hours per week
  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension
  • Flexible schedule based on student availability

The salary for this role is £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience. Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'.
