Academics Ltd is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to support children in KS1 and KS2 with their learning and ensure a safe and positive environment for them to thrive in.

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate to kick-start their career in education or for an experienced teaching assistant to take the next step towards being a teacher. A graduate with previous experience working with children is desirable. This relevant previous experience could include childcare, tutoring, helping within a nursery, in a sport setting or in a similar classroom setting etc.

The ideal candidate will be committed, enthusiastic and demonstrate a passion for working with children. In this role, you will provide 1:1 support for special needs and lower ability pupils, and provide feedback on students' progress to teachers as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support in Key Stage 1 and 2
  • Create and maintain an engaging learning environment for a range of learning abilities

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum
