Activity Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Activity Coordinator to join our team at Eden Court, a deluxe Retirement Village in Battersea. As an Activity Coordinator, you will play a vital role in planning and facilitating stimulating activities that promote independence and choice for our residents.

Working closely with the Senior Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating a successful activities and volunteer programme within the Cinnamon home. This includes internal and external communication about activities-focused programmes, as well as networking within the local community to recruit, train and place volunteers.

The calendar of events will include a range of activities, such as fitness classes, arts and crafts, musical events, and group historical discussions. You will also be responsible for identifying activities in the surrounding areas that will assist our residents to integrate into the local community.

We are looking for someone who is compassionate, enthusiastic, and brings a daily calendar of fun and entertainment into the home. If you have a passion for working with older people and creating engaging activities, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and facilitate stimulating activities that promote independence and choice for residents
  • Coordinate a successful activities and volunteer programme within the Cinnamon home
  • Communicate with residents, staff, and volunteers to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience
  • Network with local community groups and organisations to identify opportunities for residents
  • Develop and implement a calendar of events that meets the needs and interests of residents
