Pharmaceutical Operator Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Operator Specialist to join our team at Evotec WD. As a Pharmaceutical Operator Specialist, you will be responsible for operating the pilot plant reactors and ancillary equipment, ensuring high standards of safety, housekeeping, hygiene, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the pilot plant reactors and ancillary equipment in accordance with current procedures (IOPs, BPGs, etc.) to maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, hygiene, and quality.
  • Notify your supervisor or Manager immediately of any irregularities so that corrective actions can be planned and implemented.
  • Support environmental monitoring and report/record information.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and re-configuration of reaction vessels and ancillary equipment to ensure production is carried out in a timely and safe manner, complying with Health and Safety obligations.
  • Participate fully and diligently in all training schemes.
  • Participate fully and diligently in project schemes to support continuous improvement in working practices.
  • Awareness of cGMP, regulatory aspects, and pharmaceutical regulations is desirable.
  • Good planning and organizational skills are essential.
  • Flexibility and adaptability with an open-minded view and creative problem-solving skills are required.
  • Contribute to shift handovers.
  • IT literacy with strong Microsoft Office skills is necessary.
