Job Overview

G4S is seeking a highly skilled security specialist to join their team at a prestigious pharmaceutical company in Abingdon. As an ESOC Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in protecting people, properties, and assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support global security programs by implementing consistent and globally aligned security systems and operations.
  • Monitor security systems, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, video intercoms, turnstiles, and software applications.
  • Investigate, document, and address security incidents accurately and timely.
  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure secure areas and identify potential hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, including detailed security reports.
  • Collaborate with the onsite facilities team during emergencies, such as medical situations, fires, or natural disasters.
Requirements:
  • A valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding license.
  • A SIA CCTV license.
  • Ability to work 4 on/4 off shift pattern, 12-hour shifts, with 42 hours per week.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office packages.
  • Age 18+.
