The Role
We are looking for a skilled receptionist to join our dedicated administration team at Kings Park Community Hospital. The successful candidate will work as part of a small team, supporting clinical staff and acting as the first point of contact between patients, relatives, and medical staff while maintaining confidentiality. This is a part-time post of 15 hours per week over Thursday and Friday, offering a competitive salary of £20,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely information to patients, staff, carers, relatives, GPs, and the wider Emotional Health and Wellbeing Service.
- Assist in organizing and delivering a safe and efficient office system to support sound patient care, consistent with good clinical governance guidelines.
- Support clinicians with their work, including typing clinical letters and organizing appointments.
Requirements
- GCSE level or equivalent experience
- Understanding of patient confidentiality
- Knowledge of NHS organization and protocols
