Pharmacist Role: Enhancing Patient Care in a Dynamic Hospital Setting

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team at a prestigious NHS Hospital in Bournemouth.
This rotational position will cover COTE (Care of the elderly) and medical wards, providing expert clinical pharmacy services to improve patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver clinical pharmacy services to hospital wards, including COTE and Medical.
- Ensure safe and effective medication use through ward rounds and medication advice to medical staff and patients.
- Monitor and review medication therapies, adhering to NHS Trust guidelines.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care plans.
- Offer guidance on medication use, including potential side effects and interactions.
- Contribute to hospital-wide initiatives and audits to enhance service delivery.
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is required.
- Experience in COTE/Medical wards or a similar clinical environment is necessary.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective clinical decision-making abilities.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive hourly rate of £27-£37 per hour, depending on experience and Banding level.
A salary range estimate for this role is between £52,000 - £72,000 per annum, based on 40 hours per week.
