Senior Sales Director, Enterprise Solutions

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Account Director to join our team at StackAdapt, a leading self-serve advertising platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling programmatic advertising solutions to enterprise B2B brands and agencies.
As a Sales Account Director, you will be responsible for identifying, pitching, and closing media and platform sales deals with holding company agencies and brands. You will take the lead in responding to RFPs or new agency opportunities, including qualification and win strategy. You will establish and cultivate relationships with top executives at advertising agencies and their associated brands.
You will engage in discussions about product development based on client feedback with senior stakeholders across sales, product, and engineering. You will manage existing client relations and seek account growth opportunities. You will partner with your dedicated StackAdapt Account Manager to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new campaign strategies and solutions to clients and building strong relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identify, pitch, and close media and platform sales deals with holding company agencies and brands.
- Take lead in responding to RFPs or new agency opportunities, including qualification and win strategy.
- Establish and cultivate relationships with top executives at advertising agencies and their associated brands.
- Engage in discussions about product development based on client feedback with senior stakeholders across sales, product, and engineering.
- Manage existing client relations and seek account growth opportunities.
- Partner with your dedicated StackAdapt Account Manager to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new campaign strategies and solutions to clients and building strong relationships.
Requirements for the role include:
- 8-10+ years of experience at a DSP, SSP, publisher, ad network, ad server, or digital agency.
- Established network within agency holding companies, large independents, and/or enterprise brands specific to B2B.
- Previous experience selling programmatic to enterprise B2B brands and agencies.
- Strong established network and relationships with decision-makers at hold-co advertising agencies, independent agencies, and brands.
- A solutions-oriented approach: ability to understand and communicate customer challenges and pain points and navigate internally to help solve challenges.
- A deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem and DSP dynamics.
- Ability to travel to meet with customers in-market and conduct senior-level presentations.
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations.
