We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Field Based Commercial Laundry Sales Specialist. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop new business relationships, promote our products, and meet sales objectives.
Job Description- Develop a national sales pipeline through market research, networking, and cold calling.
- Generate new business through active prospecting, self-generated appointments, and following up leads added to the Salesforce CRM system.
- Manage your own diary of meetings to generate sales of commercial laundry equipment on a purchase or rental basis.
- Expand our reputation within the marketplace in core identified sectors.
- Attend trade shows, workshops, and exhibitions as appropriate.
- Meet minimum KPIs for both activity and results.
- Support in the compilation and submission of national tender bids to secure new business.
- A highly motivated attitude towards targets, goal orientated with a passion to succeed.
- A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with an understanding of longer capital equipment sales cycles.
- Career driven, professional, and credible with the flexibility to go the extra mile to achieve personal and team targets.
- Excellent presentation and negotiating skills up to board level.
- Previous commercial laundry sector experience is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Comfortable with extensive, nationwide travel and overnight stays to meet perspective new corporate customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to converse at all levels.
- Full UK driving licence.
This field-based role requires extensive travel across the UK. The working hours are 40 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
The salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
