About the Role:
Are you a compassionate and resilient individual with a passion for supporting people with learning disabilities? We are seeking an experienced Daytime Support Professional to join our team in Hertfordshire.

Job Summary:
As a Daytime Support Professional, you will work closely with individuals with complex needs, providing support to live full lives, develop skills, and maintain their wellbeing. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and patience to build trusting relationships with our customers.

Main Responsibilities:
• Supporting customers to lead active lives, engaging them in meaningful activities and promoting independence
• Developing independent living skills, including cooking, shopping, cleaning, and decorating
• Collaborating with customers to manage anxieties using Positive Behaviour Support and Autism-specific approaches
• Collecting behavioural data and essential paperwork for analysis within our local management structure

Requirements:
• Experience working with vulnerable adults, particularly those with learning disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driving licence and willingness to drive as part of support duties
