Learning Disability Support Worker

As a Learning Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs to live full lives, develop skills, and maintain their wellbeing. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and patience to build trusting relationships with our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting customers to lead active lives, engaging them in meaningful activities and promoting independence
• Developing independent living skills, including cooking, shopping, cleaning, and decorating
• Collaborating with customers to manage anxieties using Positive Behaviour Support and Autism-specific approaches
• Collecting behavioural data and essential paperwork for analysis within our local management structure
