Learning Disability Support Professional

The Learning Disability Support Professional will be responsible for supporting the customer in leading a full and active life, doing things they enjoy, and sensitively trying new things to open new opportunities.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Developing the customer's independent living skills and involving them in aspects of maintaining and developing their home
- Supporting the customer in their sensory routine and trialling new sensory experiences
- Communicating with the customer in a person-centred way and supporting them to communicate their wants and needs
- Managing the customer's anxieties using Positive Behaviour Support and Autism-specific approaches
This is not an exhaustive list of all the duties and responsibilities that may be required from time to time and is subject to change in accordance with the needs of Look Ahead.
