Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Lead Officer - Food Safety and Licensing. As a key member of our Commercial Team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety and licensing regulations, providing expert advice and guidance to stakeholders, and contributing to the development of licensing policy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections and audits of food premises to ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on food safety and licensing matters
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent and respond to food safety and licensing issues
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve compliance and enforcement objectives
  • Contribute to the development of licensing policy and procedures
Requirements
  • Significant experience in food safety and licensing, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
