About the Job

We are recruiting for a Support Assistant - Residential Care to join our team at Wytham Lodge care home. As a Support Assistant, you will provide support to our residents with their daily care needs, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

You will be responsible for assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also help with meal preparation, serving, and cleaning. In addition, you will be required to administer medication, assist with mobility, and provide emotional support to residents.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Previous experience working in a care setting
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of care planning and documentation
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
